Vol. 01 · Issue 042 · Built for PrestaShop

Themorningbrieffor your PrestaShop.

PrestaInsight is a dashboard for PrestaShop merchants that reads itself every morning. You get a one-page brief: what is trending, what to promote, where your ad budget is working, and whether anything broke overnight. Skim it once, act on what matters, get on with your day.

€2,840 vs an expected €3,310. The dip lines up with "Linen napkin set, slate" hitting zero stock at 14:20. Replenishment ETA is May 16.

Fig. 02 · The four questions

Four questions it answers, every morning.

Most analytics tools hand you a thousand numbers and trust you to find the four that matter. PrestaInsight inverts that: it reads your shop for you and surfaces the answers to the questions you would actually ask if you had the morning to do it.

  1. 01

What is trending in my shop right now?

Top-riser products, momentum by category, manufacturer movement, customer cohorts firing or cooling. Ranked by magnitude so the biggest move is the first thing you read.

See how the brief delivers it
  2. 02

Which products should I promote this week?

Anything selling materially above its 28-day baseline with stock to support a push. You pin it to the homepage or feature it in the next newsletter. The demand is already there, you just have to ride it.

See how the brief delivers it
  3. 03

Where should my ad budget go?

Revenue per product, AOV by manufacturer, repeat-buyer rate by acquisition window. You feed the SKUs that actually convert into Google Ads or Meta. The ones that do not, you stop spending on.

See how the brief delivers it
  4. 04

    Did anything break overnight?

Zero-order alerts, payment failures, refund clusters, revenue dips with the likely cause attached. If the checkout went down at 2 a.m., the 8 a.m. email is the first thing you see. If everything is normal, the brief says so in one line.

Fig. 03 · The dashboards

The same components you see here are what runs in the app.

The KPI cards, the revenue chart, the top-products list, the order heatmap. They render from a seeded fake shop on this site. When you connect a real PrestaShop store they render from your data. No drift. No "the marketing site looked nicer than the product".

Watch it run.

Thirty seconds, no narration. A cursor walks through the live demo: Commander, Orders, the order detail drawer, Customers, Inventory, and the Insights archive. Every component on screen is the same one the production dashboard renders for paying merchants.

The video plays muted on a loop when you scroll near it. Click to pause, or open the live demo and try the same interactions yourself.

Fig. 05 · Setup

Five minutes from now you can have a dashboard.

  1. 01

Create an account with email and a password. No card asked.

  2. 02

    Install the module

Download the PrestaShop module zip from your onboarding screen. Upload it through the PrestaShop back office or hand the install kit to your developer.

  3. 03

    Paste the setup code

PrestaShop module asks for a one-time code. You paste it. PrestaInsight detects the connection, backfills 365 days of orders, and opens the dashboard.

We tested this on PrestaShop 1.7.6 and 8.x. If you get stuck, the connect screen sends a forward-to-dev email with everything your developer needs.

Fig. 07 · FAQ

Questions you'd ask before signing up.

Does PrestaInsight replace Google Analytics?

No. It sits next to GA4 and does a different job. GA4 tells you about traffic and channels. PrestaInsight tells you about orders, products, categories, and customer cohorts inside your PrestaShop catalog. Most shops keep both.

What does the PrestaShop module actually do?

It reads orders, products, categories, customers, and manufacturers from your PrestaShop database, batches them, and posts them to PrestaInsight every few minutes. The module backfills 365 days of order history on first install so you have something to look at on day one.

Will it slow down my PrestaShop store?

The module writes to an outgoing queue from order hooks and ships the queue on a five-minute cron. Front-of-store pages never hit it. On a healthy 2 vCPU PrestaShop server we measure the module at under 1% CPU overhead.

Where does my data live?

In a Postgres database run by us in the EU. We do not sell data, do not resell aggregated benchmarks, and do not train AI models on your shop. You can export everything as CSV and delete your account from settings.

How long does setup take?

About five minutes if you have admin access to PrestaShop. Install the module zip, paste a setup code from PrestaInsight, and wait for the first order to sync. If a developer manages your store, forward them the install kit from the onboarding screen.

Do you offer a free trial?

Yes. The Growth plan has a 14-day trial and does not ask for a card. After the trial you pick a plan or your shop stays connected but stops receiving new data until you do.

Can my agency or accountant get read-only access?

Yes. Invite them as a Viewer role and they see everything but cannot change shop settings, billing, or integrations.

Want to look at the live dashboard before you commit?

The demo runs on a seeded fictitious shop. Everything works: change the period, sort the order table, click into a top product.
